Town came from two goals down at half-time to defeat QPR 4-2 in a thriller at Loftus Road. The Blues had been in front through Jason De Vos but Paul Furlong (2) put the home side in front. However, second half goals from Darren Bent, debutant Darren Currie and Shefki Kuqi won the points.

Midfielder Tommy Miller looks set to miss the live Sky game at Sunderland on Sunday (Sky Sports One, KO 1pm), although the Blues will leave it until as late as possible before completely ruling him out. Miller picked up an elbow injury in the 1-0 win over Leeds last Saturday.

Striker Dean Bowditch played 45 minutes as the England U19s defeated France 1-0 at Barnsley's Oakwell. The game was played in atrocious conditions, snow having fallen for two hours prior to kick-off.
